Mult Sheet

Hi Bloggers, I've been doing this Mult sheet and you might have seen my scores from term 2 week 1. Now here are my scores in three weeks, I improved in my speed in the passed three weeks.

Recount

Hi Bloggers, This Wednesday and Thursday we did a recount about something we did in our life and the yellow highlight is the great words and personification and similes so here is my recount, I hope you like it.

My Hospital Day

Screech!! Screamed the car as we stopped outside Kaitaia hospital on Wednesday. I got my toy bag stuffed with toys then leapt out of the car and slammed the door shut. Mum and me went to get my grommets in. As we walked in the wind whispered in my ears.

We got inside the tall big hospital building and waited in the waiting room, finally it was my turn. We both walked into the room that didn't look very exciting, the lady told us to sit down on the dark red chairs. When I did the chair crackled. Soon the lady asked us some questions then I got to lie down on a bed, it was warm and it had spongy pillows, they nearly bucked me off the bed like a bull. We waited a while but suddenly it was my turn. I hopped of the bed and skipped nervously to the lady who gave me a bright blue cap that looked like a shower cap. I pulled on the cap and walked over to the room where they were going to do my operation. I laid on the warm bed, it was not that comfortable because it didn’t have a pillow. My mum put this mask on me that had a tube screwed onto the mask with sleeping gas leading from the blue tube that was regurgitating out the gas. Soon I was asleep, they put in my grommets that will help me hear better (I can’t really explain what happened when they put my grommets in because I was asleep). I soon was awake in a different room I felt like a dozy polar bear just woken up from a deep sleep, Soon I felt a bit better then I asked if I was allowed a drink and they said, “You can have one when we wheel you to another room.”  When they did I got my water and my green and pink ice block.

Before went home we stopped at McDonald's and got some Fries and Hot Cakes and a chocolate Sundae. It was the best day of my life.
